The 2014-2015 Interact officers attended the September 16 meeting of Hamilton County Rotary. Interact gives students ages 12-18 the chance to make a difference in their school, community and world while having fun. Each Interact club carries out at least 2 service projects a year: one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding.   Locally the HCHS Interact sponsors a food drive in conjunction with the Winter Bash, helps the Rotary club at the Fall Festival, has donated popcorn packets to Stocking for Sailors and last year held a coin drive to help purchase a Shelter Box  to benefit people still recovering in the typhoon devastated Philippians. Interact  Vice President,  Rebecca Moseley,  presented the program with a PowerPoint presentation on her trip to RYLA. RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards)  is a leadership development program that is organized at the district level bringing together high school students from within Rotary District 6510 to energize the next generation of community leaders.
