 May 24, 2010

______________________________________________________________

Congratulations to Jeff Stewart for qualifying for the state finals in the shot put and discus with throws of 54 feet 5 inches and 156 feet and 7 inches which broke both school records.  Good Luck Thursday!

There will be a Summer League umpires’ meeting Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the concession stand.

Teachers:  Wants and needs list must be turned in by the end of the day today.

The Spring Sports Awards Program will be held tonight.

Students should make sure their lunch accounts are up to date before leaving for the summer.

Students:  Check your lockers for any unneeded textbooks or Library books that you are finished with and bring them to the Media Center at your first opportunity.  Unless you are taking Semester Exams, your Library account needs to be empty of charges by the time you leave for summer break.

Students cleaning lockers are reminded to recycle materials: Waste paper goes in the green bins, plastics go in the marked receptacles and unused/still usable school supplies may be given to Ms. Fries, Mr. Vallowe or left in the container at the student store. Working together we can make a difference.

Athletes:  If you want to get a physical from Mike Davenport, sign the sheet in the nurse’s office.  These physicals will be Saturday, July 10th and Saturday, July 31st at 9:00 a.m. here at the high school.

Wednesday’s lunch menu is as follows:

                                                 Sub Sandwich

                                                Ham/Cheese

                                                Doritos/Fritos

                                                Veggies/Dip

                                                Ice Cream

Faculty & Staff:  Please look at the list by the mailboxes to see if you need to fill out an absence form.  Debbie at the Unit Office needs any outstanding ones ASAP.

Please stand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
