There will be Scholastic Bowl practice today from 3:00 – 4:00.  There is a meet against Woodlawn here tomorrow.

 

Anyone 8th grader interested in trying out for High School cheerleader should sign up in Health Services.  Packets will be available next Monday, March 12.  You must have a current physical.

 

Anyone who wants to sign-up for Jr. High boys and girls track should do so in the Health Services Office.  You must have a current physical to participate. 

 

Attention 8th grade students.  It’s time to bring in pictures for 8th grade recognition.  One baby/toddler, one current (or we can use your school pictures), and one in between.  Take them to Mrs. Teffertiller.

 

The Jr. Interact Club will be having another Hat Day this Friday. Students can wear a hat for $1.00. The money collected will be donated to the Harrisburg Disaster Relief Fund.

 

Congratulations to Ms. Woodrow's 4th hour class for winning January's tab contest. After only two months of collecting tabs, we are almost halfway to our goal of one million tabs. March's contest will be between 3rd hour classes. Good luck to all!

 

Students who have perfect attendance for the 3rd Quarter will enjoy an IPOD IParty on Friday during 8th hour. For this party, you are able to bring your IPOD to listen to 8th hour while you get to play at the courts, weather permitting. Please check the list that is posted on the bulletin board by the water fountains to see if you are able to attend. If your name is not on the list, but you feel it should be, please see Mrs. Link.

 

Drama Club will meet in Ms. Woodrow's room today and tomorrow from 3:00-4:30 p.m.

 

There will be no afterschool tutoring March 6 through March 15, due to ISAT testing.

 

The IDNR will be offering the hunter safety course on March 9 and 10.  Anyone interested in this course needs to contact Larry’s Gun Shop at 632-3060.  Do not wait to sign up as the class will fill up quickly.
