Congratulations to Jordan Pike and Colton Bond for being named April's Students of the Month.
At the IGSMA State Solo and Ensemble Contest Hannah Andrews and Amber Davis both received at 1st Place rating. Dakota tostado received a 1st Place Superior rating. Congratulation to all!!!
There will be a meeting in Mr. Lee’s room this Wednesday at 10:50 for any girl or boy interested in running cross country next fall in high school.
Any 7th grader wanting to play baseball or softball next year, needs to sign the list in Health Services.
Any 8th grader interested in tryout out for cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, trap or volleyball next year needs to sign up in Health Services.
Any 8th grader who is interested in trying out for volleyball next year as a Freshman should pick up a summer schedule in the main office.
The track team will go to Carterville today. Bus will leave at 10:20. Students going to this should be dismissed at 10:00 for lunch (brunch).
The "pop" tab" presentation will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. due to the track team leaving at 10:20 today.
Eighth graders who have perfect attendance for the 4th Quarter will be going to Kid's Kingdom on Friday during 7th and 8th hour. Permission slips will be handed out today during 8th hour. The list of students eligible to go are on the bulletin board. If you don't see your name, but think that you have had perfect attendance, please see Ms. Link as soon as possible.
The Jr. High Sports Program is Wednesday, May 9, at 6:00 in the Senior High gym. Awards for the Trap team will be presented at the Sr. High Awards program on Wednesday, May 16.
The 8th grade recognition is Monday, May 14, at 6:30.
The McLeansboro Sea Otters Swim Team will begin the 2012 season at the end of May. Registration forms are available in the office.
